Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

We gather for worship every Sunday at 11 AM. If you're joining us for this service, we recommend entering through the doors closest to the road. Our friendly greeters will welcome you in the parking lot and at the entrance, guiding you into the building and the sanctuary—so you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

On Sunday evenings at 6 PM, we host En Gedi, named after the freshwater spring near the Dead Sea in Israel. This informal gathering offers an extended time of worship and a relaxed teaching environment, providing a space to rest in God's presence.

In our worship services, we read and preach from the Bible, pray together, sing together, and take time for reflection. A typical service lasts about an hour and a half.

As a first-time guest, you'll be warmly welcomed by our greeters at the door and by a volunteer at the Welcome Center in the foyer. However, you won’t be singled out during the service. At the end of each service, we have a time of response to the message, during which some people choose to come to the front of the sanctuary to pray.

As our guest, you are not expected to give financially at any point in the service. Our heart is to be a gracious host and to walk alongside you in your spiritual journey in any way we can.

We offer programming for children during our Sunday morning worship service and on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM, providing a space where they can grow spiritually and be encouraged as individuals.

The safety and well-being of every child are our top priorities. All of our volunteers undergo background checks, and there are always multiple volunteers with each group to ensure a secure and nurturing environment.

We believe children are not just the next generation but a vital part of the current generation. God has uniquely created them to make a meaningful impact in the world, and we are passionate about helping them grow into who He has called them to be.

You’ll find a wide variety of dress styles in our church family. Some people come in jeans and t-shirts, while others prefer suits or dresses. Our worship services have a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable—we’re just glad you’re here!

On Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM and Wednesday nights starting at 5:30 PM, we enter through the Family Ministries Center—the modern building with the glass exterior. This entrance provides easy access to our LIFE Groups, as well as our children’s and youth ministries, which meet during these times.

For our Sunday worship service at 11 AM and En Gedi at 6 PM, we gather in the Sanctuary. The best entrance for these services is the historic entrance facing Pleasant Avenue.

We believe faith isn’t just for Sundays—it’s meant to be lived out every day. That’s why our church stays active throughout the week, primarily through LIFE Groups. These informal small-group gatherings dive into various studies, providing a space for community, growth, and deeper faith.

Do you know Jesus?

He’s more than a good teacher or a historical figure—He is the Savior you need. Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard, but God sent Jesus—the Christ, the promised Messiah—to rescue and save you, because he loves you. Through His life, death on the cross, and resurrection, Jesus paid the price for your sins and made a way for you to be forgiven and restored to God (John 3:16, Romans 5:8). He alone has the power to save and give eternal life to those who trust in Him (Acts 4:12).

If you don’t know Jesus or want to know Him more, we would love to talk with you.
